On 20 March Gift of Life hosted an exclusive event Harp of 21st Century, a private performance of internationally recognised Russian-Swiss harpist invited soloist of Bolshoi Theatre, composer and improviser, Alexander Boldachev.
A unique crossover programme, which included music by Bach, “Scorpions”, Chopin, “Queen” and other prominent pieces broadened the horizons in music without borders.
The evening raised over £1500. The funds will go towards purchasing the most effective cancer drugs for the children in the Gift of Life’s care.
Alexander is the exclusive endorser of Salvi Harps and Invited soloist of Bolshoi Theatre. From the unique Harp Solo in the Ballet “Nureyev” to the modern performance on “Burning Man” – Alexander is playing and teaching around the world different styles of music, taking part as a Jury member at the international competitions and creating his own compositions and arrangements.
The evening was kindly supported by Lodha Developers UK & Savills Russian Desk.
We are also thankful to Vintry & Mercer hotel and ZIMA Magazine for their support of the event.
