On 27 May 2017 Ignaty Dyakov from St Petersburg, known across the UK as a linguist, Russian teacher and coach, walked the 100 km distance from London to Brighton within 24 hours in aid of Gift of Life and raised over £1200 for our young patients. Ignaty dedicated that challenging journey, without sleep, breaks, music or audiobooks, to the children receiving oncological treatment in Russian hospitals.
