Myalkhazni fell ill in early 2014. At first, she was brought from Grozny to the RKDB in Moscow; then she was transferred to the Dmitry Rogachev Centre for Paediatric Haematology. Here Myalkhazni was prescribed a bone marrow transplant from her brother, which she successfully received in December 2014.
Myalkhazni is a Year 11 student who loves Chechen national music and dance very much, and misses her home town. Back home, her friends and beloved cat Tigryonok are waiting for her.
Myalkhazni’s chemotherapy included the medicine Oncarspar, to which she regrettably turned out to be allergic. As a consequence, to continue her treatment she had to urgently have it replaced with the foreign equivalent Erwinase, which became possible thanks to GOL’s aid.
